I'm just back from a fantastic evening of 'The Tusk Conservation Lecture', listening to talks by Iain Douglas-Hamilton OBE and Dr Tico McNutt at the Royal Geographic Society in London. From my workshop in rural Dorset, I design and make hardwood furniture both to commission and for galleries.
I focus on the design, functionality and finish of every piece I make, starting with choosing each plank by hand, right through to the waxing.
